Anybody that has owned an iPhone/iPod for a year or 2 will agree that the Home button does become a little bit sluggish over time. In the beginning it was lightening fast, and now it just sort of crawls between screens.
Not to worry, there is a 30 second fix that will improve the button’s response times immediately.

Simply open a stock IOS app, something like the Clock, Weather or even Stocks. Once open, keep in the power button until prompted to slide to switch off. Now keep in the Home button for a few seconds until the device forcefully quits the application and returns to the Springboard.
That’s it, done.
Go ahead and test it, and you will be pleasantly surprised.
Enjoy!
