Whether you work in a large corporate, or a small business, there is a good chance you are printing to a Brother or a Lexmark printer.
If this is the case, then please get excited about the latest updates to the driver packages from Apple.
You, or more likely your network admin, will be able to download the “Brother Printer Driver 2.8” and “Lexmark Printer Driver 2.7” packages for use on Mac OS X 10.6 and later.
These packages include the latest drivers for a wide range of the respective Brother and Lexmark Printers.
Your network admin will be very happy to know that if you have already got previous drivers installed for these printers, the Software Update will gracefully pull down a small incremental update. If, however, you are going to download the full package, you will be punished with a 150MB and a 180MB download.
